Exhibition Round-Up 2016
With the 2016 exhibition tour coming to a close we have taken a look back at what proved to be another tremendously busy and successful year for EDGE Innovate. With 13 unique exhibitions attended worldwide and with the release of two innovative products to the EDGE Recycling Range, our partners and sales representatives have amassed a total of over 70,000 miles; the equivalent of travelling around the globe two and a half times!
AED SUMMIT & CONDEX:
January kicked off the New Year as an extremely busy month at EDGE with a two stop journey in the USA. The first stop of the year being the AED Summit & Condex which took place in the Gaylord National Hotel & Convention Centre in Washington from the 19th January to 22nd January. The Condex trade show was the perfect opportunity to meet with our distributors in the USA and was a very well attended event by representatives in the industry.
US COMPOSTING COUNCIL:
Our second stop in the USA, took our sales team to Florida to join up with distributors Setanta Machinery. The exhibition commenced from the 25th-28th January, it was EDGE Innovate’s first attendance at the US Composting Council 2016 Conference and demonstration. The event was hosted at the Hyatt Regency Riverfront hotel in Jacksonville. This three day show was the world’s largest composting conference and exhibition to date in the market. As well as being the largest composting conference, the USCC plays hosts to the largest “live” equipment demonstrations for the composting and wood recycling industry in the U.S. With the launch of the TRM516 back in 2015, the USCC Compost demonstration was a great platform to showcase the impressive performance of our newest trommel offering to the USA compost and mulch industries.
ORGANICS RECYCLING CONFERENCE:
The Organics Recycling Conference gave our English representatives MAX Innovate, their first outing of the year. This one day conference hosted by Organic Recycling Group took place in Staverton Park, Northamptonshire on the 3rd March 2016. The one day event included a day stacked with exhibiting, conference and a gala dinner for those within the sector. In its 22nd year, the event is the only dedicated conference that addressed the important issues regarding the organic recycling industry in the UK.
INTERNATIONAL BIOMASS CONFERENCE & EXPO:
EDGE Innovate’s strategic partner, Hills Machinery, attended the International Biomass Conference and Expo in Charlotte convention centre, in North Carolina from 11th-14th April. The International Biomass Conference & Expo is the largest, fastest-growing event of its kind. The event funnelled in over 1,500 attendees to the event.
C&D WORLD EXHIBITION:
GreenRock, attended their first ever exhibition as a distributor of EDGE Innovate’s product line at the C&D World Exhibition and Conference. On from Sunday the 1st to Tuesday the 3rd May 2016, the event took place in the Double Tree by Hilton Hotel, San Jose, California. The C&D exhibition is the only event that focuses solely on C&D Recycling, which was extremely beneficial to Californian exhibitors and visitors as there are over 500 facilities in California that process C&D materials. GreenRock were on hand at the exhibition to offer advice and recommendations in regards to processing of C&D waste.
N-EXPO:
EDGE’s next adventure was a trip to Tokyo for our territory sales manager Tom Connolly; he attended the event with EDGE’s distributors Eco-Clean from the 24th-27th May. This event took place at the Tokyo International Exhibition Centre. The EDGE TS65 was also showcased at the Tokyo event which gathered a lot of attention and interest from many visitors attending the exhibition. Designed to work in the harshest of environments the TS-Series can be continually fed by any crusher, screener or shredder with a rapid set-up time and impressive stockpiling capacities. Over 167,000 visitors attended the 2016 N-Expo show over the four days.
I-FAT:
From May 30 to June 3, EDGE Innovate exhibited at IFAT 2016, the world’s leading trade fair for water, sewage, waste and raw materials management. The Sales and Marketing team of EDGE attended this five day event in Munich. Over 3,000 exhibitors attended IFAT from over 60 different countries, which expected to gather over 135,000 visitors. The event gives visitors a great insight into the emerging solutions available to the market. Visitors to the EDGE stand were able to discuss possible material processing solutions as well as get the information on our newest additions from the EDGE product range such as the new MC1400 which was launched at IFAT 2016.
WASTE-EXPO 2016:
From Munich to Vegas, our sales team made yet another trip to join up with our California distributors, GreenRock Equipment at the USA event. On from the 6th-9thJune, in the Las Vegas Convention Centre, Waste-Expo represented North America’s largest solid waste, recycling and organics industry event. Over 600 exhibitors and nearly 13,000 attendees attended the exhibition.
HILLHEAD 2016:
EDGE Innovate attended the Hillhead show from 28th-30th June for a fourth time running this year. The famous Quarry, Construction & Recycling show was as always held at Hillhead Quarry in Buxton. The three day show experienced huge crowds with over 18,655 unique visitors attending this year’s event. With the worlds media in attendance, EDGE Innovated selected Hillhead 2016 as the platform from which to launch the new FreeFlow 18X6’ flip flow screen and our new track material classifier; the MC1400. Also on show were the ever popular Slayer XL and the TRM516 mobile trommel. EDGE gathered potential enquiries from over 15 diverse countries from all corners of the world. As well as debuting our latest product releases, EDGE also announced the latest partnership news with the confirmation of Southern Conveyors being appointed as our new hire partner in the UK. Southern Conveyor will now have access to the entire EDGE material handling range.
AWRE:
EDGE Innovate attended the Australasian Waste & Recycling Expo (AWRE) from the 10th-11th August. EDGE Territory sales manager Tom Connolly along with the EDGE Australian distributor Focus Enviro attended the two day event. The AWRE event has proved to be the largest event to date in Sydney. With over 110 exhibitors exhibiting at the huge Australian event, the AWRE has become the most commercialised event dedicated to the Australasian waste and recycling marketplace. The EDGE TRT622 Trommel was showcased at the two day show, which created a lot of attention and interest from visitors. The TRT622 series trommel is the largest track trommel available in Australia. Incorporating impressive design features such as a 180° radial fines conveyor, unique load sensing hydraulic drive system and eco-power saving functionality coupled with a user friendly HMI control panel enables for the TRT622 to easily adjusted to suit various applications.
BULKEX:
EDGE Innovate attended the BulkEx 2016 from the 5th & 6th October, within the Harrogate International Centre. BulkEx has become one of the largest Bulk Material Handling Exhibition and Conference within the UK. The two-day event was aimed at professionals, organisations and academics from across the bulk materials handling world. This year the Material Handling Engineering Association (MHEA) invited guest speakers to speak throughout the two day show. EDGE representative Patrick Donnelly along with UK distributors Max Innovate attended the two day event in the UK.
EXPOMARK:
EDGE distributors SawCentre attended the ExpoMark- Energia exhibition in Finland. The exhibition commenced from 25th-27th October 2017 at the Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre. The three day event was an extremely high quality event with conferences and seminars lined up throughout the event!
PHILCONSTRUCT:
EDGE distributors Inframachineries attended the Philconstruct Series 2016 exhibition. The exhibition commenced from Thursday 10th to Sunday 13th November in the World Trade Center Metro Manila. The Philconstruct Series has become a true international event with exhibitors exhibiting from Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, US, UAE and more.
