The EDGE Static Slayer XL is a twin-shaft, slow-speed shredder engineered to deliver unmatched efficiency and reliability. Designed for demanding applications, the Static Slayer XL boasts a 20% increase in throughput compared to the Slayer X, making it the ideal choice for processing wood waste, domestic household waste, organic waste, end of life tires, mattresses and construction and demolition debris.
Built for continuous operation, the EDGE Static and Hooklift Slayer XL is available with versatile power options to match specific site requirements. Operators can choose between a direct electric drive, offering seamless integration with site power for zero emissions and reduced operating costs, or a diesel/hydraulic power source powered by a robust Caterpillar 420hp engine. This diesel-driven option is incredibly fuel-efficient, consuming just 25–30 L/hr (7–8 USG), and can be configured as either an integrated power unit or a separate power module for site flexibility.
Engineered for maximum uptime and low maintenance, the EDGE Slayer XL features customizable twin-shaft chamber configurations, enabling precise material breakdown for a wide range of waste types. Its high-torque, slow-speed operation minimizes dust generation and reduces wear and tear, extending component life and lowering maintenance costs.
Advanced features include tramp metal cycles, which automatically reverse shaft rotation to eject unshreddable materials, protecting the machine from damage. Additionally, intelligent load sensing technology optimizes performance by dynamically adjusting to prevent overloads. Designed to operate at a lower rotor RPM, the Slayer XL delivers exceptional volume reduction and precise piece sizing without sacrificing production rates.
